Greenwood’s October 2025 comprehensive plan identifies Woodland Trails in its discussion of home construction. Roof work here still follows the individual house, from the covering and its supporting layers to the flashing at each interruption.
A roof inspection follows the actual house: valleys, dormers, roof-to-wall joints, vent pipes and the drainage path to the eaves. A stain below one of those intersections can need different work from a broad area of worn shingles.

The condition around the failed detail guides the choice.
A damaged boot or displaced shingle can be repaired when adjacent shingles remain workable and the supporting wood and flashing are sound. The work needs to restore the layers beneath the visible opening.
A covering that breaks during repair, widespread deterioration or several failing transitions can point toward replacement. Removing the covering allows the deck and connections to be evaluated together.
